FRICKbits is a self-quantification application that reveals the art hidden within your daily patterns. The result of our collaboration with data-artist, Laurie Frick, the app tracks your everyday movements, expressing them as unique, personal data portraits.
We established the strategy, framework, user interface, and branding behind FRICKbits, working to digitally reproduce Laurie’s unique style of physical artwork.
At the heart of our software is an algorithm that deciphers the patterns to make each person’s travels unique. Paired with dozens of finely-tuned color palettes, the application is a highly customizable and personal experience.
