To celebrate Austin City Limits Music Festival and Austin Startup Week, thirteen23 hosted Austin’s first Music Hackathon in October. Designers, developers, musicians, and hardware hackers all converged on our space for three days to collaborate, experiment, and create new, interactive audio experiences.
SoundCloud, Rdio, Rovi, Twilio, Mashery, and SendGrid were all on-hand as sponsors of the event. Project highlights included a social jukebox, a multiplayer audio game, a SoundCloud iPhone application, and an interactive sound table.
